No other information is available at this time. ( note there is a spot on the tape that is audio only but it does continue with visual a moment later, not for children to view )

A couple in Pakistan was executed by Taliban gunmen. The execution was caught on tape. The victims were from a remote village and accused of adultery.

Warning The video is graphic.

When the couple tried to flee when they figured out that the Taliban was planning on killing them.  A gunman coldly shot both parties leaving them to bleed in the dirt. When someone in the execution party called out that the couple were still alive the gunman came back to fire more rounds into them.

The crime that they had committed? An alleged affair.  The families were directed to remove the bodies away for burial.

The killings happened in Hangu district, in North West Frontier Province, about two hours drive from the regional capital Peshawar.

The Taliban has gained a stronghold in Pakistan handing out this type of punishment to those they chose to. As of this week the Taliban had reached within 60 miles of Islamabad, in Buner district.
