The 62nd anniversary of Israel's Declaration of Independence is the springboard for this week's panel discussion on "Middle East Perspective."  Among the aspects considered by the panelists -- Yitzhak Noy of Israel Radio, Jamil Hamad of Time magzine and Prof. Shlomo Aronson of the Hebrew University is whether Israel indeed is "a Jewish, democratic state" as its centerist and right-wing politicians define it.  Also on the agenda is President Obama's call for Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. 
Jay Bushinsky of CBS Radio is the moderator.
