Ruth Sinai is a leading Israeli columnist and editorial writer. For over a decade she was the social affairs correspondent for the daily Haaretz newspaper and its economic subsidiary, The Marker. She was awarded Israel's top journalism prize, the Sokolov Award, for her work. Previously Sinai worked for The Associated Press in New York, Tel Aviv and Washington, writing about defense, foreign policy and intelligence issues.
